Are high school students getting too much homework?
If you want to improve your writing skills, you are in the right place! In that poll teens reported spending, on average, more than three hours on homework each school night, with 11th graders spending more time on homework than any other grade level. Regardless, research has shown that doing more than two hours of homework per night does not benefit high school students. For high school students, homework is indeed beneficial for a learning boost but it should also not be too challenging or take up too much of their free time. Students, more specifically high schoolers, are constantly overworked to the point that it starts to negatively impact their mental health.
PreK—K , 1—2 , 3—5 , 6—8 , 9— I believe in homework because it serves as an opportunity for the student to display his or her understanding of the day's lessons without direct help from the teacher. It also provides parents with an insight.
